Maiko Art History Piece
This is my art history piece, I took the photo from my camera (It even put the little face recognition boxes around the characters faces!) which is why it might appear a bit slanted (example: in the top right-hand corner you can see my desk) I'll try a scanned version if I can later. This is compositionally based off of Jan van Eyck's Portrait of Arnolfini and his Wife. Many elements of said painting are recurrent such as the longer robe-esque outfits, the pet, the oranges, the signature, the chandelier, and the feminine hands and on both characters. I don't own Maiko/Zuko/Mai or the Koala sheep etc, that is all from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I think that's a sufficient amount of info for now...

That ala sheep is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha thank you very much Amarelis! Thanks for reading that long spiel as well!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently trying to watch every episode right now. I can't stop it's so addicting.
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah I think there are like 60 of the original series and 12 in korra. Both are pretty fantastic though.
