Still life
I finally finished this still life drawing. Well mostly at least. The bamboo still looks kinda shabby, but I had to edit it a little in my drawing because some dead leaves were in the photo and they just did not look good. Also, the book is a little off. I really ought to add the author but it is so difficult to try and get the font size and alignment all just right. I might go back and add it but im not sure if it is worth it because it could make the book look worse. Another thing I just noticed from the photo is that I messed up the back of the buffalo a bit, so I will probably fix that later as well. So any thoughts just let me know.

Drawing is beautiful! I love the aged book and the texture you got there! The only thing I see is that the buffalo blends a bit into the drapery in the photo. It may not do so much in person, but just see if that feels a bit too similar when looking at it in person. You may need to lighten the drapery a bit OR darken the buffalo guy a bit (which may be hard depending on what pencil you were already using for him.)
