It's kind of faint, but I started to sketch my Art History project. I chose to focus of the DeStijl movement - I wanted to inclcude the different styles of it so in the corners I used the 2D style and built up to 3D in the middle. I planned on doing it in watercolor, but I accidentally used the wrong paper.... do you think I should resketch it on watercolor paper or what medium should I use? Let me know if you have any suggestions!
That picture was really bad here's a link to a better one https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=bb90bdcd5f&view=att&th=13f8294a9e23cbcb&attid=0.1&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P9PfiXOT53H1pCHTQLj2kDj&sadet=1372285885360&sads=UXrA1QgIBFxJSxQPPp4eHa8C7e0&sadssc=1
ReplyDeleteMegan,
ReplyDeleteI can't see the image on the link. The link just takes me to the sign in page of google. But regardless...about mediums.
Can you use water color pencils? Acrylic Paints? I think those two would be the best for the style you were going for...if not you could try colored pencils but would need to build up a lot of color to get a clean look (lots of layers of colors).
Hopefully one of those would work! If not, it may be better to transfer to another type of paper. If you wanted to even come in to school we could try copying it or you could use a light table?
I was going to do acrylic but i started my culture piece in acrylic already and doesn't every project have to be in a different medium?
Deleteand for the link you might have missed the https on the first line.
DeleteMegan...you are correct. Each piece should be a different medium. You could maybe try the water color pencils? Would that work??
DeleteYeah that's a good idea, thanks!
