Work In Progress

Recently I started my Art History piece, I can't remember the artist that I am going for, so if anyone does can you let me know? I'm planning on having each section of the face depict a different emotion, which then is put together to make a collage of the face.
(If it doesn't work out as the art history piece I might use it for the possible concentration piece.)

  1. I don't know the artist...but I do think this is an awesome idea.If you did this concentration, using famous well-known faces would be really fun, just an idea(:

  2. This is a really cool idea, but it probably wouldn't work for art history because I think that is supposed to be more focused on culture. Like Juliana said, using famous faces would be a good idea for a cocncentration piece, or if you wanted to do it for your self portrait you could use yourself obviously haha

  3. Well for the art history Ms. Manning told me about a famous artist who took pictures and molded them together, I already had it passed with her to so I know it would work. And what I was thinking concentration wise was emotions.

  4. The artist was David Hockney. He does Photomontages and was also a painter. So taking that idea of breaking down one scene into multiple images. He is also a painter and did some paintings like this (tiled images of a larger scene.)

    Here's his web site: http://www.hockneypictures.com
