Hey guys,
So here is what I have for the figurative composition project. I originally planned on having the photo being in color but I found the black and white to be more dramatic. I'm having trouble deciding whether or not the contrast is either too severe or not enough and whether or not the feet (especially around the toes) blend in enough with the black background. Any other suggestions are welcomed!
The fading and the dramatic lighting is beautiful! I think your decision for the feet should be based on where you want the focus, because right now your eye is kind of drawn to the feet. Maybe if you made the feet fade a bit more into the background, the focal point would shift more towards the arms and the hair? And if you did that it might also make it just the right amount of contrast? Just a suggestion!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Caitlin! And Michelle made a good point too. It's fine as it is, but that will ultimately depend on where you want your focal point to be.
