For a Friend.

I'm drawing this picture for a friend and I know I need to push the contrast some more but I was wondering if you guys could give me some feed back on it so far! Thanks a ton.

  2. I think a subtle green undertone will give you that extra contrast.

  3. Also the skin has more of a yellow tone in the photo from where the sun is hitting. So maybe adding more yellows, browns, and greens... Your drawing has a much more 'pinkish' tone. But what you already have going is a nice color too though.

Also, the eye on the left (when we are looking at the image) is slightly too large. Look at the slope of the bottom of the eyelid. The widest part in the photo is directly under her iris...your's is past that on the white of the eye. So it make is appear larger.

The "V" shadow on her neck is a little harsh. In the photo it fades into a highlight more subtly and you have a very defined line right now. If you could soften that out it would help blend better.

But overall it does look great! Nice subtle shading and use of color, the hair looks great!!!
