Another new Concentration-using music terminology and showing the meaning of the word through images. Making it look like a "CD" cover. The term for this piece: TUNE
I don't really like how the word 'tune' is written repeatedly into the violins on the left side. It took me a second to notice it, and when I did the words felt out of place. I think if you change the color of the text to be closer to the color of the wood it would look better. Also, if you could warm up the bottom left corner with the white wall for the background, I think that would look better. It just feels flat and cold in comparison to the rest of the piece.
I like the composition overall, though, and how the background behind the carpenter is blue to contrast the warm tones of the picture.
I like the consistant warm color of the wood and the frame like lines. I didnt quite see the word tune being captured in the peice until i saw cam talk about the words in the violin, which are very hard to recognize. I would try to develop the notion of tune within the peice because without knowing thats what it was i would not have come to that conclusion.
looks good, i also didnt even notice tune was written in the violin and then today i saw it on when i was talking to you, i think you should really try and incorporate the word a little better. i also agree with jack that when i think of tune and violins it should be more apparent. but otherwise good concept.
