I know a few of you had trouble seeing the word 'tune' written in the violins. This is the picture I had originally but Ms. Manning thought I should make the word blend in to the picture more than just having it say TUNE. Is it easier to just make it bold and straight forward though?

  1. When I saw the larger version of the other version, I could see "tune" just fine, but if you wanted to make it more obvious, maybe you could try putting it into the background of the central picture or possibly on the white borders? I agree with Ms Manning that "tune" stands out a bit too much in this version, but maybe you could make it stand out a little more than your other one.

  2. I really like the angles that you use in the photo it makes the piece interesting to look at and keeps your eye involved with your piece. And I understand the meaning of tune but what is the word tube implying about the piece. Does it have any deeper significance than tuning a violin?

  3. I really like the colors on this! Not sure what the concentration really is but I like this so far!

  4. After looking at both, and me and you have talked about this, I still feel this one is too harsh with the text. A violin is such a femine shape and the sound and feeling I get when listening to them is much softer than the font you chose...I have a hard time with this font. I'm not sure on the placement of the font until I see a few more, but keep both versions so we can play around with both later on. Great use of multiple images and breaking up the traditional 'rectangle' of a photo!
