I like the symmetry of the roses off to either side. I think the birds are too dark -- it makes them stand out too much. The iris looks a bit strange within the eye -- I think the top lid needs to come down a bit farther, or, if you're trying to mark the eye look more surprised, shrink the iris show the sclera fully encompasses the iris. I would also feather the edges of the eye and have the lids blend back into the clouds--- the edge looks too sharp. The cloudy sky looks awesome, and the meadow with the tractor tires fits well with the upper half of the picture. I really like how this is coming along :)
Whoaaa! I think it looks really good. Almost reminds me of an early 70's album cover. Everything is dead center and usually I would comment on that but this picture seems to serve that well in a way. The eye begins at the girl going up to the eye and staying as the flowers birds and moon (or mars or whatever) revolves around the peripherals as you look. Give it a try but don't let yourself get too dizzy. ~Cram(blit)
I love the style that this is in. The different components are pretty random but they look really good put together. I disagree with Cam that the birds stand out too much, but if they weren't as dark I think that would look fine too. Great job, it looks awesome!
I really dig the concept and composition of this peice Lauren. I am however going to agree with can. My eye is drawn to the birds due to their dark nature. Also the lines coming from the eye are asymmetrical and I feel like they should be symmetric. Other than that though, it looks real neat.
I really like the style of this piece. The colors look really well together. I agree that the birds are too dark, and you lose them as the sky gets darker. Definitely bump up the brightness or something like taht. Also the two smallest flowers on the horizon kind of blend in. Maybe you can just put the four flowers and not six?
I really like the colors of this piece. They are all somewhat toned down, which makes it seem really vintage-y, but they still all work well together. Also, your use of color is significant in the focal point and the way your eye is drawn around the piece. With that in mind, the birds might be a bit dark like other people have said, and I think the foremost roses might be a bit bright too, but overall it's a great piece!
This is so cool. The colors are amazing and make me think of this piece as kind of a scifi type scenario. I love the eye and how it is harsh against the sky. It gives it more focus which is what I think you were going for. Awesome stuff Lauuuuren.
I like the arrangement/composition of this piece a lot. I really like the textures on the girl and on the eye; however, I'm noticing that both of those textures have a distinct dotted texture while the flowers appear to have more edgy streaks. I'm not sure if they clash necessarily but you may want to consider if you would like having all of the images in a similar style. Nevertheless, the tone and composition are still wonderful.
Well... I'll be honest... I didn't read the previous posts but I would like to just say my input on this piece. I REALLY LIKE IT! It is unique and it captures your attention. When you look at it you feel the need to take it all in at once (in a good way) and that just adds to the over all feel of the collage. The way the you incorporated all the images together also works very well for you. YOU WERE THE ARTIST and you were the one who created the piece. The whole thing is multiple small pieces that form a whole-in which each of the pieces derived from equal "parts" not one massive/main image and photo shopped in a couple small insignificant things. Good job and keep up the good work!!!
From Adi: The eye in the sky piece i really like, i think that everything works together very well, you were probably going for that look but just for fun try to blend or something like that so that the flowers look more apart of the piece, just to see what it looks like, but idk i still really like it as is
