  1. chy, i love this! ariel looks so good, and its really creative. i cant wait to see the other concentration pieces. i think those two long grey bar things behind the people are a little confusing and should have shadows. looks awesome!

  2. the bar looks like it is in front of the girl yet goes behing the boy, which confuses me. Also i think you should put some detail into the boys face because it is a bit distracting, but other than that i really like your concentration and ariel looks sweet.

  3. Ariel looks awesome. Like Jack said, I think you should put some more detail in the kids. I think you could also do a little more with the background, more detail. The detail in Ariel is great though.

  4. I agree with further developing the background. It looks like the kids are sitting on sand, but because of the bars they're really at the edge of a pool, correct? So I suggest adding diagonal lines to make it look like the floor is made of tiles, or otherwise making it more of a grayish color to look more like cement. Additionally, I think the water could be further developed. That's it, though! Great job, overall.

  5. I definitely agree that the background seems empty, pools are usually pretty crowded in the summer, so even if you didn't add more people then maybe some tables with umbrellas, towels laying out, more inner tubes in the water or something beacuse right now it seems like she's lifeguarding an almost empty pool.
On the other hand, I love how well you've captured Ariel's likeness! It's really obvious who she is despite the fact that she is much more realistic than her typical cartoonish form. Having her lifeguarding at the pool is a really fun idea!

  6. I love the concentration!!
And she looks wonderful I'm really excited about seeing more of the pieces! Do you plan on incorporating their various princes as you go along to show progression in your concentration?

  7. This is probably one of the coolest concentrations! I agree to develop the background more because it looks pretty basic right now but awesome stuff!

  8. From the picture some of the shading on her neck can be softened. I don't remember it looking quiet the same in person so that could just be the photo. But I agree w/ the other comments about the railing. We might want to tweak the placement of the shadows to help with the perspective and make sure that feels more accurate. Otherwise awesome job! I'm excited to see more!
